Hi, I’m Hannah! I create products and organizations that empower people.
I founded two award-winning organizations. At Sproutel, I created products to bring joy and comfort to children in healthcare. At Design for America, I built a national network of innovators designing for social impact.
I create high-quality designs that are rooted in understanding people. I take pride in building processes where product and design development center around people and their core values.
I’m a people-first design leader.
I put the utmost priority on building trusted relationships with people whom I work with and design for. I strive to create a collaborative culture where people bring their authentic selves.
Here are the products I created.
Comforting kids with cancer
Helping kids learn about type 1 diabetes
Helping kids feel calm
I advise companies and organizations.
I advise nonprofits in creating community-centered strategies and mentor startup founders in business and product design.
I teach design and mentor students.
I give lectures, run workshops, and teach studio classes on design research, entrepreneurship, and human-centered design.
I write and illustrate.
I’m currently working on a couple of children’s book projects – inching my way to becoming a published author/illustrator!
